Communications you can trust

We’re Lucy and Clare, a London-based writing and marketing partnership. After working together for a number of years on freelance projects, we discovered our skills blend together well. Clare’s marketing experience means she can dig down to the root of what a client needs, what their message is, and who their audience are. While Lucy’s journalist skills communicate all of this in a vivid and inspiring way.

So why Green Bird? Our name reflects a love of most things green, and represents the passion we share with many of our business and nonprofit clients: that working with the environment can sustainably improve life for communities around the world.

Lucy Mason

I started out working in-house at the RSPCA, writing articles for newsletters and the children and adult membership magazines. After qualifying as a journalist, I went on to write online news and features for BBC London and Sky. Since then I’ve written editorial articles, web content, case studies, press releases and adverts for various charities, businesses and publishing companies on dozens of different topics. Most recently I’ve been writing for charities and businesses that focus on sustainable change and the environment in the UK and overseas.

Clare Dorey

I’ve worked in marketing and communications in the construction, engineering and nonprofit industries for many years. During this time I’ve promoted sustainable practices and green energy for Skanska, a Swedish global construction company, and currently work with engineering and construction-based businesses and charities. This ties in with my passion for conservation and sustainable change which protect our built and natural environments. I also works on environmental community-based projects for businesses, schools and councils.
